I just love the idea of putting a bow on the year prior. Putting all that happened, the good and the bad, into a box and tying a pretty bow on top. Cherishing all that came to you in 2024 and wrapping it up to welcome the new. I recently listened to a podcast in which the host mentioned “tucking in December.” How cute of an idea is that? Closing this year with a sweet and tender tuck in. Whether you tucked it in or put a bow on it, I hope you savored and enjoyed the last few moments or 2024! I also hope however you welcomed the new year it was full hearted! Whether out with friends under silver and gold balloons, in your jammies reading a good book, or listing out all the joys of 2024 and hopes and dreams of 2025, I hope it was wonderful.
In the theme of celebrating 2024 below is a list of some favorite moments this year that brought the simplest and sweetest of joys:

And now 2025!
Each year I pick a word of the year to guide me. I was really stumped as I brainstormed my word for 2025 because there are just so many great ones! So much goodness that can direct our days. This morning I opened my new devotional titled Savor. It was like the introduction was written for me. It was so evident and clear that my word for this year will be Savor. I can’t wait to savor all the moments of this year - the exciting and the mundane, the positive and the really tricky, the simply joyful moments all around. Stopping more often to pause and simply relish in all the goodness in our world. I can’t wait! If you have a word of the year I would LOVE to hear it!
With the new year also comes the Simplicity Challenge! We all know I am obsessed with Simplified and I love this beautiful way of taking one simple step each day in January to simplify your life. I highly recommend following along for the fun!

Happy New Year sweet friend! I hope you go into 2025 knowing how incredibly loved and wonderful you are!
Cheers,
Tate
